Timothy Martin

Currently serves as Director of Purchasing for UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, TX. In this role, he is responsible for the strategy and processes for the purchasing function while adhering to the State of Texas policies and UTSW standards. Prior to joining UTSW, he spent 17 years with CHRISTUS Health and 11 years with HCA North Houston Medical Center.

 

Having spent over 25 years serving healthcare provider organizations focused within Supply Chain, he is well diversified in all aspects of Supply Chain Management. Tim has a proven track record of being a strong leader, accountable, dependable and results driven. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Western Governors University of Texas and is CompTIA Project+ Certified. He is a member of The Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management (AHRMM) and serves on the executive board of the North Texas AHRMM (NTAHRMM) chapter. He is a Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP), and currently serves on several local industry committees.
